Giving Clients Easy Access to Answers Lowers Business Costs
A multi-billion dollar company was experiencing a high number of seasonal calls to the service center. While managing a communications team, I proposed the addition of a link on the company’s home page providing information to directly address the most common question — the status of Forms W-2. The easy-access link and clear information significantly reduced calls to service centers and executives regarding W-2s. This simple solution freed time to focus on other business. Do your employees spend valuable time answering questions customers can easily find answers to themselves? I can help you explore ways to make answers to customer questions more accessible and clear to your employees and customers.
An Infographic is Worth 1,000 Words
A major corporation was transforming its service model. I worked with a team of senior leaders who were reimagining the new service offerings. From their meetings, I developed a visual graphic to clearly convey service offerings to employees, the board, shareholders and clients. As the company implemented the change, I worked closely with a team of executives and leaders from HR, training, marketing and public relations to develop and implement communication strategies to increase employee engagement, including a successful internal social media campaign and hashtag on Yammer. Visuals can be a very effective way to communicate important information. Does your organization employ visual elements like infographics and videos to complement and simplify communications?
Content Strategy Thwarts Cybercriminals
A CEO was concerned about the cybersecurity of clients who might fall prey to bad actors impersonating his company in communications. My team and I developed a content strategy and communication campaign. Timed for release just before the high season of cyber activity in the industry, we educated clients of potential risks and how to avoid them. Do your clients or customers know how to spot a potentially fraudulent email appearing to be from you? Do your employees know how to escalate data security concerns and communicate effectively with customers about security? This is an issue facing all businesses today. Helping protect your customer data protects your business. I can help you develop an internal and external communications plan that reduces risk and eliminates confusion.
